The Tesla Cybertruck is unlike any other vehicle just by the looks, but driving it is on a whole other level. This is the dual-motor all wheel drive foundation series that costs a whopping $110,000 after taxes and fees, but soon this should be available for $20,000 cheaper when the non-foundation series Cybertrucks begin delivering. One of the most unique and obvious is the ultra-hard stainless steel exterior that is supposedly dent-resistant and reduces longterm corrosion along with the armor glass that Tesla claims can resist the impact of a baseball at 70 mph and also class 4 hail. It’s obviously nice not worrying about paint chips or really any minor damage at all, but the stainless steel does have its drawbacks such as how easily it shows fingerprints, and how blinding it can be at certain angles when the sun hits it. The massive 18.5” center touch screen with an all new cyber themed user interface is a very nice upgrade if you’re used to the smaller 15” touch screens in the Model 3/Y. Other interior features include a 9.4” rear display for backseat passengers, 15 total speakers with dual subwoofers for one of the best vehicle sound systems you’ll probably ever experience, upward folding second row seats, heated and cooled ventilated front seats that are very comfortable despite the same angular themed design as the rest of the car, HEPA filter (bio weapon defense mode), panoramic windshield & glass roof, along with custom cabin lighting that gives some relaxing vibes at night. The bed also has one of my personal favorite features which is an automatic tonneau cover that can be opened and closed with the push of a button on the back of the truck or from the center touch screen or even the Tesla app. This is fun if you are passionate about the truck or spreading EV awareness or just like putting smiles on people’s faces, but if you’re an introvert or just don’t have time to always stop and talk to people it may become a bit of a nuisance after a while. The comfort is one of the best features of this cabin, and I liked the vantage point of sitting up much higher than my Model 3. This is a Tesla at the end of the day and even though this truck is over 6000 pounds, it still has that Tesla quickness we all know and love with a 0-60 speed of 4.1 seconds. Compared to my Model 3 and y I did notice that the Cybertruck motor seems louder, and the regen braking with the all terrain tires definitely was louder when coming to a stop. By day 4 I was finally getting used to the steer by wire maneuvering, and by the time I went back to my Model 3 it felt like a big downgrade when I had to turn the steering wheel way more for a turn than I was doing in the Cybertruck. Since this doesn’t have autopilot I tried to drive with my knee for a few seconds when I needed to grab something, but that is pretty much impossible due to the squircle steering wheel design. Tesla is unfortunately known for their fit and finish issues, and I noticed int his truck there were noticeable bubbles in the white dash material, and a few imperfections such as on the rear floor and there was some plastic stuck in the rubber door sealing.

Love your quote about the cool syndrome! So many people fell in to this includes me!

If something gets stuck far up in the dash, just stomp on the accelerator and it will magically come back to you.

7:51 I was hoping someone as intelligent and experienced with Tesla as you would report this fairly. Tesla could *not* have delivered the CT with AP/FSD. It is not a simple copy/paste from other cars due to different camera placements, steer by wire, and 4 wheel steering. It must be trained on lots of data from a real world fleet of trucks. Getting this fleet on the roads and doing the training takes time.

Dude you are one of the best YouTubers I’ve seen. Your videos are outstanding, your presentation professional, and your topics are relevant/helpful. I’m a fan.

95% of all truck owners don't tow or haul. Just a quick trip to Costco and Home Depot to get a couple of 2x4. 😂

I reserved a CT the night of the unveiling, configured a Foundation version in December, with a delivery date of January to March. The last day of April I ordered a Model X the same day Tesla called to say my Cybertruck was scheduled for delivery. I love the CT, but there have been too many new production issues along with deliveries to a bunch of celebrities when I was told "as an early reservation holder" I was given the opportunity to buy the foundation CT. Sorry but none of those celebrities were reservation holders...I felt misled and played.

Your review was excellent. I received my cyberbeast 3 weeks ago and everything I have to say you covered precisely. I even had plastic stuck in the rear floor trim exactly as you showed! With the minor fit and finish issues it's still far and above the best vehicle I have ever driven!

Seen one the other day, still had paper tags. Rubber weather stripping on the bed cover was already hanging off it lol

I had a dream I bought a cyber truck without being able to afford it and couldn’t return it lol .

Saw my first one in the wild, it’s an absolute beast. I’m not into statement vehicles, but on the other hand it has some interesting tech and aspects.

Nice review. Helping manage my nees for cyber. Think down the line they'll convert back 1/2 to a full 3 row SUV which will also sell well.

Kinda wishing I could have given you the Lightning for a little side-by-side comparison

Yes, it is cutting edge alright! Don't forget the first aid kit.

I disagree, Andy...I thought you looked pretty cool driving it! 😎 haha Glad you got to check it out. Someone in my small town in Kansas has one and was nice enough to give me a ride. It was awesome!

The more I see these in the wild, the more I like them. I saw a white camo one in Austin over the weekend and loved the look of it.

I will wait and buy it later for the tech. I like the 4 wheel steer

i think it looks ok if it's in pristine condition, but like you said a little smudge shows instantly... all the cool little features are "cool" but not practical for me. the inside is too plain, and the seats look cheap. Though I do like the big windows.

Just saw one of these today here in our community and wondered what it was!

The more I see the Cybertruck, the more I'm groovin' with the look of this beast 🔥

I like the cybertruck, if I see one in person I'm scared I'll flood my basement! But I just don't understand why the fuss over 4 wheel steering it was on the 1988 Honda Prelude Si, and as far as stainless steel that was used in the DMC DeLorean for the American market from 1981 until 1983 !?
