The keep is from captain Jack's colony list series. He is a YouTuber. The Pistons on the bottom are used as a lift if they break a wheel and need to replace it.

Colony lost is series made by captain jack (YouTuber) its a mix of let's play with story telling and cinematics ever once in awhile to keep it interesting it is a continuation of a colaberation that captain jack did with last stand called colony wars (as of now last stand gaming is no longer apart of the colonise series)

Yeah, you're right it is Ventral Hanger when its underneath.
When its on top of the ship it is a Dorsal Hanger.
Using anatomical terms like that, anywhere down the side would be a Lateral hanger.
At the back would be a Posterior Hanger and at the front would be a Anterior Hanger.

Though that is from Sci-fi..

NASA use use the terms Port (left), Starboard (right), Aft (back), Forward (duh), Overhead (up) and Deck (down)
So they would likes use naugtical terms like, Stern Hanger, Bow Hanger, Port Hanger, Starboard Hanger, Bottom Hanger and... Whatever they call to top lol.

I personally enjoy the business model for the most part, paying the devs work on cosmetics that don't directly impact the game is a great way to fund future development, so they can keep patching the game and keep adding to it.

But I do not enjoy the part where the economy system is behind a pay wall, as it significantly changes gameplay, it should just be an update.

It could be a lot worse thou

I've never actually uploaded anything to the workshop. How does it work when it comes to mods? I mean I tend to build in a world with a ludicrous amount of mods. but the build wont use a fraction of them. If I upload it, will it only have the used mods?
