Having built two of these and still flying my original I have two recommendations for your owner. That's a great setup your using overall, the first recommendation is prop up to 22x10. 20 will fly it scale, 22 gives it a little better performance without a large penalty in wattage. I didn't notice any difference in flight time. Second, The elevator has some up trim in it, I had a ruler across the top of mine and it was flat across the top for tge elevator adjustment. Im sure you are aware but as someone who has been flying one of these for multiple seasons I thought you might appreciate the reminder 😊. This plane is a gentle giant and will utterly take off in 50' full flap and land in a 100 the same way. Looking forward to your usual master class in build and construction. Hope your well my friend.

Have fun to Route the felt 500 Meter wires and 50 connectors. . 😅. But the last thing you need on this plane is a gyro. This thing flies like an oversized beginner Airplane

Would be an awesome plane for a dual x45tp setup😍

Another good vid Jon. I’ll be honest, prop planes are more my interest. And, i appreciate you starting a new build as though your viewers haven’t seen what you do - step 1, 2….. etc.

My neighbor was colonel Dale Davis from the Marines who flew these and was CO of his squadron at MCAS Yuma. I was just a kid but he showed us everything in these. Cool to see a kit.

RC geek showed me you can use wood glue for hinges. Have not had a failure yet. Super easy and it cleans up with water

I have that Bronco, too. I would suggest (what I have done afterwards) is replacing the stock ball heads to some high quality ones, like gabriel or something. And for those who have not begun yet, also replace the hinges for better ones.

Another hint: Maybe you try the ToolkitRC ST8 for your "burn in" process. It has four servo ports and some analysis capabilities. I think it would be more efficient and reliable. 😉☺️

oops the elevator cover/servo mount is up side down. That is the wrong one or it was built on the wrong side. That is why the link was too long. Love these Vids. I learned 2 cool things from you. 👍

How are the Pilots integrated into the programming...do they need function assignments..? Great video...love the details of what products you use and brands...and why....your building procedures and rational are "Bang On"!

Jonathan could I get the link to where the owner got his batteries from please. And I also own the Hangar9 OV-10 and it is by far my best and favorite plane. Cant wait to see how you put it together.

Not sure if anyone's mentioned it earlier but the metal coming off the lights isn't called heat SHRINK, it's called heat SINK. Did make me laugh... 🙂

Was there a specific Unilight kit you used?

Why go thru all that trouble for scale with rivets and all that just to chose a 2 blade prop?
