At 54:01 brought tears of joy to my eyes too! Reminds me of the thunderdome back in 98ish at Lavela, tan and in shape, twisting my nuts off, drenched in sweat, dancing my ass off til they told us we had to leave! Or just jump in the pool if you were ready to leave! That would for sure get you escorted out! It was the best time of my life! I'm 50 now and can remember it like it was just last Saturday night! One last memory to add, taking a break around 2am sitting in the lay out chairs by the pool having the best conversations with total strangers who seemed like your old best friends you have not seen in years. Everybody getting along, great laughs and getting some of the best back rubs by some of the hottest girls in my life! LOL!

I was lucky enough to be in West Palm Beach back in ‘97 when breaks ruled the fukn world. Moved to Orlando in 2000, timed perfectly for it blowing up there too. Good ‘ol days👊🏽💥

It’s funny how music can take you back to a moment so long ago. There were times I was so at peace with everything I could have slipped away without a care. I grew up in Florida so I lived through the break beat, house and trance era in the 90s and I have been through the galaxy and back without ever leaving Orlando. Feelin like I’m.... this is a great set of old school memories. When it was all about the music and everyone was on the dance floor for the same reason. You could look at others around you and meet eyes and smile, and we were all united as one!!

I was introduced to this style of breaks back in 98-99 by my late bestfriend Bomb-B from OKC. Rip. So we would RAVE to these classic beats in my west texas hometown of Abilene, Tx. Back then there might have been maybe 30 people in that clueless city that was about that PLURE LIFE. For this type of music to find its way to me way out there is proof of how bad ass it was and still is. I still jam this shit and reminisce. Those years I'll never forget and were the time of my life. I can only imagine what the florida scene was like. There will always be a que of this in my playlist untill i die.
