You Can't Save Everyone

There is nothing wrong with being a wounded healer. There is nothing wrong with wanting to save others. This is a really beautiful thing.
But it starts to work against you when you want to save everyone, because the hard truth is that you cannot save anyone. No, not even that person. The only person you can save is yourself.

You can inspire others, you can help them. You can give them wisdom, knowledge and guidance. But they must walk themselves up the mountain. Nobody can do it for them. In life, we come alone, and we leave alone. What few people realize is that in between, we may walk alongside those we love, but our paths are ultimately just for us. They want to save because they see themselves in the broken. They want to save because it is uncomfortable to witness a suffering so much like their own.

Eventually you will realize that your life is of your own making, and you must give someone power over you to have power over you. You control your life, you control your outcomes. You control your space, your safety. For everything that is out of your control, your immediate circle — the space in which you live and exist — is within your jurisdiction.

I’ve learned years ago & continue to learn as life goes on that SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST BORN TO LOSE FOREVER 🤣.

They keep choosing failure over & over & over again no matter what so why waste your time even trying to help, coach & assist such people.

Whether they be “friends”, family members etc these people must be dismissed from your life as much as possible if not forever because they will do nothing but tear you down, it’s in their nature ✅.

What good is it to reach your goal if you destroy yourself in the process. You may belief that sacrifice is a virtue but means to an end mean nothing if the means corrupt the end.

I get it, it's a wake up call to believe in life again- in its drama and worthwhile story. But i think trying is pathetic. Forcing is foolish.
And to pretend you could lie to yourself about what you want just to live in a sorta victim compromise with what was dictated as reality...is the worst kind of self-betrayal, cheating yourself out of life. Manipulation to keep the virtue of humility away because others don't know the difference as they cast humiliation to make some sort of TRANSaction with psycho-social pain
