Help. I’m still unclear about the bell with a slash. I went to the contact that I wanted to message and chose message (initiating a new text chain) and send the text. Did bell get there automatically based on a setting somewhere? Or did the person I text, silence it? Do both sender and receiver see it and can change it once there?

Lastly, I just joined your channel but I’m not sure how I’m to contact you with questions?? Is it only thru comments on a video you’ve done or ? Thanks.

Question: Am I silencing just the sound when the text comes through or am I silencing the text itself? Like, if the person texts, will I still get it just with no sound, or will I not get the message at all? Thanks in advance for your response! 😃

so Am I just silencing incoming messages from making an alert sound, or am I also silencing the message that I sent to the party that they are replying to ..in other words have i silenced the whole thread both sending and receiving?

I'm still lost. Did I somehow put that bell there next to a message that I sent to someone? Or, did they put it there to show they don't want to hear from me again? Does the bell just remove the sound or does it prevent me from receiving a reply to my text? And, I have an Adroid. Swipe to the left seems to only allow whole conversation to be deleted not that bell with the slash.

Anybody know why texts still come through on Apple Watch, even though it’s silenced on iPhone. Setting is set to mirror iPhone. TIA
