BSU SMB Lab: A Decade of Excellence - Zachary Ells '21

Zachary Ells '21 (PhD Candidate at UCLA)
Zach and Brian were the first to conduct research with the optical tweezers built by our undergrads at BSU. Zach was selected to present his research on the anticancer drug Doxorubicin at the Prestigious National Collegiate Research Conference held at Harvard. He was a star soccer player who was selected to the all-conference team twice and captained the BSU soccer team. Zach was awarded a full scholarship to pursue his PhD at UCLA and is currently 3rd year PhD student.
