Outremers daggerboard/keels, light weight and sailing performance would make it an excellent candidate for a completely energy independent cruising live aboard. Renewable energy only. Zero fuel or gas/propane. Electric direct sail drives, solar, wind and hydro generators. Solar grills, water catchers (a good step already), electric motor dinghy, aft helm chairs rigged for fishing, I could go on. Outremer could be the pioneer in this and kick off a cultural revolution. I think many want this. And not hybrids. I think the tech is here. This is the perfect boat.
