Even though you didn't have too much to say, I'm happy Rienne ended up fairly high. She was the commander that really kickstarted my love for the game, and was a fun deck building challenge to tackle.

I dont know what I like more. Joe mispronouncing the names of cards or Beezy never letting him get away with it. The way you guys interact with each other always cracks me up.
Also it seems to me you guys might have been a lil more harsh on ranking the new C19 commanders

Yes that is quadratic, linear is addition and quadratic is multiplied. Since it is times 2 every time it is quadratic.

I am confused as to Mishra's rank/rating. Some commanders were mentioned based on synergistic combos, the Myojin on playing and somehow getting them into hand... But Mishra decks are really very strong. A little tutor-happy, but strong.

What am I missing about the rating?

I kinda feel like you're underestimating Ayula, honestly. She's easy to write off but unless you commit a lot of resources to shutting her down as soon as possible she can get crazy oppressive very quickly. Her ability to take absolute control of the board as soon as she's out is not to be underestimated.


Or maybe my locals just have a very casual meta :P

When you did your explanation of your rating system, you talked about how cedh commanders are 8/9/10 for power. Elsha is one of the most popular cedh commanders, and is almost tier 1. On the most recent cedh metagame update, elsha was arguably the most popular commander. Yeah its 5 mana, but thats not really a problem, as you can set up the turn before, and then its a combo piece from the command zone. What are your thoughts?

25:45 Hilarious with lifelink, by the way. He's also amazing in Gisela (13:50) and Samut decks. Regarding the story: I think he killed one of the main bad guys of the Kamigawa story, a blue Kami.

51:30 I think Kambal should have more on the power rating. He prevents a ton of infinite combo shenanigans and Storm. You typically deal about 14 damage in total for each time you cast him, over time.

Gisa is one of my favorite commanders of all time. There are a lot of weird magical christmasland combos that you can do because of tap/untap shenanigans

I was looking into potential cards that would go into a Rayami deck and it turns out that their is not a single creature in Sultai that has Double Strike for Rayami to copy. Also Rayami's exile ability completely stops die triggers for nontoken creatures from happening

I think Kambal should be higher. I have a Kambal deck and it gets more hate than Ruric Thar because I gain life instead of just having my opponent's lose life
