J D Souther has always been one of my top favs! All the way back to the beginning and Longbranch Pennywhistle I have loved his great ability in voice, music composition, and lyrics! JD is the greatest in my book! I am a musician and it only enables me to love the value of his work even more. Many thanks to JD Souther for his music!

I know this was a long time ago, but is he using a bass string for the 3rd/G? It looks like a low E string, but I tried that and the saddle & nut would need some adjusting...it's a cool sound...maybe I'll try an A  string tuned down to G...if anyone knows, I'd appreciate verification...thanks!
