It's always great to see Steve Vai playing as not only is he a virtuoso player but he always puts so emotion into his playing & doesn't hide the fact he not ashamed or embarrassed to show his passion through facial expression also...

I grew up watching BB King/Eric Clapton/Jeff Beck/Muddy Waters/Buddy Guy along with Brian May/Eddie Van Halen RIP/Joe Satriani/Gary Moore along with so many others who literally looked like their music was flowing out of them & into their guitar playing & singing...

I'd be here forever writing all the greats I've listened to & let's not forget how George Harrison went on to find his own unique sound & when he played slide it had an almost haunting feeling to the sound that George made on electric guitar & I urge those to listen to more of George's solo work as thats when he let loose everything that he held back or was restrained from doing when with The Beatles, sure there are a few song's we're you can here George playing with The Beatles that stand out by themselves but not enough for such a talented all round artist & his sound became more recognizable as the sound he went for & harnessed it so well when he eventually went solo...

Man, John & Paul could've scored some more seriously big hits if they had just eased off of holding George back at certain moments & even their Producer George Martin commented & admitted that he felt guilty for not supporting George more & allowing him to contribute more but as he aptly put it he had his hands full with John & Paul but that's still no excuse & at least George Martin accepted that he should've backed George more but what didn't end up on any of The Beatles albums became classics from George's songs...
So in a way time has shown us that it worked out perfectly but it wouldn't have come across that way at the time...

I'm really looking forward to Peter Jackson's Documentary of The Beatles " Get Back " released in November 2021...

Peter Jackdon has went on record to say & show in a small Teaser clip that the recording of this album & what they all went through showed that the recording was not all as was shown in to be in the " Let It Be " film as Peter delved into 100s of hours worth of footage of it showing them having as much fun as they had issues during that recording...

For someone like me who has been in a signed band & knows what happens during the recording process that, in my honesr opinion, there should be some tension between the band member's as thats what makes you strive to make the best version of any one song that you can...

There were always, most times back when the Music Industry was still in top form, when other bands were booked into a studio next to you & recording their material & sure enough there was tension & some nasty arguements but this was all part of getting to the best of what you can achieve at that time as popular musician's, & with respect to classical musician's, we don't hold back on what we have to say & how we are feeling & how we express ourselves as we are writing our own songs & again with great & utter respect to classical or musicians in an orchestra, that music has already been writing & though what you play from those sheets of music is amazing more often than not it's not your music that your spent year's of trying different things to get it to where your happy with it & are now accepting it as finished but again great love to classical trained musician's as its amazing listening to individual & collective parts of those musician's in orchestra's...

I feel sad for many generations of kids who didn't grew up listening to what I & billions of others over so many decades could listen to when the Music Industry was still in its hey day & a powerhouse of sheer ongoing coveyer belt of talent & I'd love to see these kids get to see such Legends but unfortunately there are no legends playing in today's music industry & if they are it's like within this recording & predominately music artists from the past that are still playing Live...

Sure there are those that are great but back when music ruled the airwaves many of them wouldn't have even registered & made a connection to the fan's as the cream of the crop would be so far in front of them that they'd just look like a tiny speck in the distance...

I think you only have to sell 10, 000 copies to get a Number 1 now & that statistic tells you how much we are missing with sheer talent but it was a combination of rising prices in old which made less profitable to record on vinyl & then CDs came along & ruined how music should be listened to but that's just my humble opinion...

But by the end of the 90s you could see music as an ongoing forever evolving art form was slowly fading away as each decades past & sure certain reasons caused the profit margins of music fall drastically but in the end only one person is to blame & thats the human beings who became couch potatoes watching Tv all day long & playing video game's, so in a way their ignorance isn't harming then as they don't know what they've missed put on but all of us within a certain age group do & even the younger one's who go to Music Festivals understand the bond that we have with music is something special that we can't allow it to just fade away...

I could easily write a who's who of the solo acts & bands I went to see who musicians went on to become legends but I fear those would only register with a certain amount of people & when I think of how much talent there was & it was never ending, I can honestly say I thought the Music Industry would always be with us as no one ever thought it would slowly die away, as we were so sure it would keep continuing on just as it had for all those many decades before we found our best artists & still going on for all the decades that past in the future...

I don't know maybe it is just me that see it this way but then I'm remind by friends & family who mention or put on greats from not that long ago on their vinyl record player & then I'm reminded of the sheer amount of modern talent that's missing & sure you could argue that why would anyone join an industry were there's no money to be made any more but I remembered all the bands who were happy to play the pub circuits & weren't in it for the money but for the love of playing Live music to those that were in the audience on any given night...

I've tried to rekindle the love I had of just going to see Pub bands live but even those are few & far between now, so it's about accepting this & just being thankful of the music I was blessed to hear whether on the radio/on vinyl singles or albums & of course going to see them live...

As there really is no way to describe how it feels to watch such greats play Live & thats what drove the next generation of music lovers who'd go on to be the next best music player's & I should just be thankful to have lived in a time were music was all encompassing & those solo acts & bands gave us music that will continue to live on long after we've departed this earth...

In light of this still ongoing coronavirus stay safe and healthy wherever you are in this world...
