US first women-only 'mosque' BBC News

The BBC's Alastair Leithead reports on the US's first women-only 'mosque' in Los Angeles. The Women's Mosque of America in Los Angeles holds prayers in a building that used to be a synagogue, but is now a multi-faith space. Founder Hasna Maznavi told the BBC the intention was not to compete with other mosques, but to give women a place where they can "grow inspired and empowered".

A woman is allowed to lead other women in prayer. However, you can’t just wear whatever you want. You have to wear hijab and appropriate clothing just like we do when we are praying at home. We don’t wear the hijab because of men but Allah.

Im Indonesian Christian, i live my whole live among Muslim majority in my country and even i shocked to see this. I understand why many Muslim in the comment section are angry and shocked. The multi-space idea of sharing the same building is beautiful but Women-Only Mosque??

On the authority of the mother of the faithful, 'Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her), who said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "He[or She] who innovates something in this matters of ours [Islam] that is not of it, will have it rejected [by Allah]".Related by; Sahih Al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. 
In one version related by Sahih Muslim; The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said "He[or She] who does an act which we have not commanded will have it rejected[by Allah]". 
The Best of women (among the best generation of mankind) during the time of the Messenger of Allah [PBUH] didn't suggest this idea and neither dis the Prophet [PBUH] gave any condition in is Sunnah(or Hadith) about women leading the Friday prayer. The only condition is relating to "Solat"(and that's when no male is around to lead), not Jum'ah(Friday prayer) or giving Khutbah or creating a female gathering for Solat ul Jum'ah, while there are thousands of male to lead. Allah(SWT) and His Messenger(PBUH) has given the right to the Males. Who are we to question the commands of Allah?! 
Please be careful of your justification of the rulings in Islam. For I swear by Allah(SWT), who has my soul in His Hands, He will question you for this "Innovations" in the Deen! And nobody supporting(and aiding) you in this life on this matter will stand to intercede for you on that Day!  
Fear Allah(SWT)!! May Allah(SWT) continue to guide us. May Allah(SWT) forgive you and I, by His Mercy.
