My entry for the Peter Gabriel StabilityAI #DiffuseTogether music video contest. Made for the song "Playing for Time" from "I/O"

I am an artist and art gives me life. Peter Gabriel has been my favorite artist since I first saw him in concert in 1986. So, it was a thrill to make this video and have it be recognized as one of the Top 20 Finalists. I hope it moves you the way it moved me when I made it (and still does when I watch it).

*8mm film footage shot by my parents when my brother and I were children (before they were divorced when we were 6 and 3, respectively)

*16mm film footage shot in San Francisco during college - the most magical footage from that time.

*Text - lots of prompt engineering

I processed multiple times through different tools. Tools included Deforum, Kaiber, Procreate, Photoshop and Final Cut Pro. Some of the film footage was run through AI and some was lightly composited in FCP. All editing and post production was done in FCP.
