A fan after one show....
November 2017 Ruth Moody and her band performed at the Stoughton Opera House. Stoughton Wisconsin. I knew that she was a member of the Wailin Jennys. I picked up a ticket. went to the show just to hear some music. Basically I was just curious. Well I walked out of there a big fan. Such a sweet lady wonderfully talented. it comes through in her performance. This little lady walked out on stage and a sound came out of her that just melted my heart. Her backing musicians are very talented. It was a good show. I was lucky to meet with Moody after the show. she was very nice and personable. Bought three CDs one Wailin Jennys and two of hers. she autographed all three. Ruth if you read this please put out a new solo CD soon ...suffering withdrawl.

I just turned 68 and Dancing In The Dark is one of my four all time favourite songs. Amy Macdonald from Glasgow also covers Dancing In The Dark.
The other three songs in that four song list are Sultans Of Swing by Dire Straits, Don't Tell Me That It's Over by Amy Macdonald and Rebel Yell by Billy Idol.
