Use the same method as the item number 8, then you will arrive at

=Lim (x-> -3)
(2x+22-16)/(x+3)[(sqrt 2x+22)+4]
= Lim (x-> -3)
(2x+6)/(x+3)[(sqrt 2x+22)+4]
= Lim (x-> -3)
2(x+3) / (x+3)[(sqrt 2x+22)+4)

Cancel (x+3)
=Lim (x-> -3)
2/(sqrt2x+22)+4

Substitute now the value of x= -3, you will arrive at

= 2/(sqrt 16) + 4
= 2/ (4+4)
= 2/8
= 1/4
