Also, I'm sorry, but I always find it funny the step noises they all make in KH games. Like, they don't do that much noise in other media, but here? Like wearing heels man, like wearing heels.

This is a part of Toy Story canon. At some point between the second and third films, Woody and Buzz Lightyear went on an adventure with the real Donald Duck, Goofy, and some anime kid.

Take a moment to sink this in, this is the first time EVER the toys encountered something like the supernatural and magic, sure talking toys is considered magic but that's all there was in the original movies.

This Toy Box story is way better than Toy Story 4 because Woody and Buzz’s friendship is put to the ultimate test having to fight Xehanort. Who else agrees?

Can I just gush over the animation for a moment?! LIKE HOLY COW!!

I will say first of all that it was hilarious seeing Buzz and Woody do “anime” tropes like the sound effects of “Oh!” And the little noises of affirmation or shock. Manga-style looks good on Buzz, but it’s a little weird for me on Woody. But oml the ANIMATION fits gloriously into Kingdom Hearts’ world!

The details! Don’t even get me started. Woody’s little tic of messing with his hat when he’s nervous or upset, the way Buzz and Woody’s facial expressions looked like something DIRECTLY out of the movie! Absolutely flawless, I felt like I was watching a little ToyStory short.

I saw the opening cutscene in Andy’s Room waayyy back when this game first came out, and boy was it weird hearing Woody and Buzz speaking Japanese, lmao. Holy cow that was a ride-and-a-half.

It was so wholesome seeing Buzz and Woody interact OOC a little with Sora and the gang, and each other too. Honestly Toy Story’s message of “We’ll always be there for our friends, no matter what.” Really hits home for Kingdom Hearts, cheesy tropes and all. So glad this was included in the game.

I Do noT CARE what ANYONE SAYS, these cutscense and this story are a million times better than ANYTHING in Toy Story 4 and further, Rotten Horrible Wastes of time and money. This was magnifiscent. Amazing, bravo, this is why I'll buy KH3 now, finally. I'm sold♥

Xehanort playing mind games with everyone. Woody doesn't give a darn about his mumbo jumbo garbage. He tells Xehanort exactly what he is, and does what he has to to get his best friend back, no matter how much Xehanort tries to drive him to despair.
