WORKSHOP (episode 1)

Throughout this episode the goal was to mix 4 of my songs together in a house mix. The goal of the workshop series is to give fans an insight to the ideas I work on as I work on them in the “WORKSHOP”.

The first song in the mix feels classic and modern at the same time. It's not like a lot of modern house nowadays, but its more vintage elements don't swallow the identity of the song.

It has a sense of space, but doesn't feel overly empty to me.

I enjoy this take on the house genre.

(By the way, i notice that even though Montell has 100s of thousands of subs, the overall environment _feels_ like a cozy community. This is new to me.)

Came back here to tell everyone about something that the Holy Spirit made me realize. And he's been urging me to tell you this, guys. I hope this will bless y'all as he has blessed me.

I know that Montell is presenting us a different image or side of him. We've known him as a "Gospel" rapper, singer, and song writer and we're proud of him. But we didn't accepted him later on when he was showing us his real self. We didn't accepted that part of him which is "REAL". We didn't loved him for what he truly is. We heard in his gospel songs about his struggles and God was there to help him, but we didn't acknowledged his past. Which means that we didn't really supported him at all on his music career all along 'cause we despised him when he was showing us and expressing that part of him which he mentioned many times on his gospel rap/songs. All this time, we didn't love him. We loved listening to his gospel songs 'cause we love the entitlement of being a "Christian".

Christianity is not only about singing the worship songs and highlighting your bibles. It's actually TRULY loving one another. And speaking of that, it can be of many form. And of those is accepting this person and praying for him. Maybe he needs our comfort. As his fan, be there for him even in simple thing such as being active in his platform. We all rise to Christ all together. Let's help each other come to Christ by loving one another for this is the will of God - (John 13:35) By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Be a light in this world by loving one another as we should.
