This reminds me of the second brain method in distilling, by breaking down information into it's base elements we can get pure information that's both easy to understand and easy to combine. Kind of sounds like finding the first principles of a page to me

learning about first principles, i have one of best example. I have read "Sophie World" novel and this novel thought me how to think like "scientist and philosopher".

As summary, you need to be like the protagonist, Sophie. A child with less knowledge lead it to philosophy journey with her secret teacher. I can't tell you all because i have not read all of pages. 😅

I wonder how our first consciousness AI would named, i think we need to name it "Sophie"!

When it comes to the tree with the branches of knowledge I'd recommend you check out Gregg Henriquez work and his "Tree of knowledge system". It has a temporal dimension (physics first, then chemistry, then biology, then psychology, then social sciences) and gives philosophical as well as scientific reasoning as for how each plane of existence (Matter, Life, Mind and Culture) emerge out of the previous. Gregg also argues that the way of understanding each emergence is specific for that specific plane of existence (and that's why you don't try to explain psychology in terms of physics for example).
