I'm on both teams. I used android exclusively since they came out but for several reasons, including video capabilities and the apps (like Mavis which syncs with my timecode system) I finally got an iPhone last month. Glad I did. I still use the android for my 2nd line and things like my Samsung watch but I may even switch to an apple watch eventually!

Thanks for your vids! Creator kits yes! 10x optical zoom would rock, but I think we'll see that on the 15pro at the earliest. Love to be wrong though...

I think within the next two or three years the camera will be one large sensor, and a rotating lens setup somehow. They could put a one inch sensor, and use mirrors or an actual rotating mechanism to guide to the right light somehow.

As long as iPhone 14 pro max have 4K Cinematic, regular 8K just fine. I want that 1TB storage though. Everything else are just okay for me. I shoot 4K30 and 4K60 regularly so

The biggest thing for me would be a faster way to get those files off the iPhone. Faster lightning, dare I saw USB, some sort of psychic Blue Ray beam. Improvements mean bigger files. Faster transfer goes hand in hand with more storage . 24/25 fps Cinematic Mode would be cool.

Hah, love this time of year. I’m looking forward to the larger sensor hopefully giving even more natural depth of field (the 13 Pro’s main sensor is already so good at this). Also pretty keen for 8K but I’m not sure how often I’ll use it. Finally I’m hoping that cinematic mode gets bumped up to 4K for this generation.

I've been waiting to upgrade to 14 Pro. Very interested in computational cinematography: hoping 14 Pro will be a kind of tipping point. I use an OG BMCC Pocket as my personal camera - which still fits in my pocket with an anamorphic adapter - so the competition is stiff. (I'm a raw nut :-) But I need a new phone. I don't think we'll see raw because HDR and log - but I haven't actually used a recent iPhone so🤷‍♂Also mystified why Apple recommends ProResHQ! Overkill, IMO. In my OG tests - ProRes Proxy vs H.264 at max quality - the ProRes won for quality, 10-bit, ease of playback AND smaller files. I'm a pro filmmaker, and I never ever use ProResHQ. 4444 gets more use: only option for alpha channel. Had no idea event was today! Exciting :-) Thanks for video👍

We're not gonna get it, but when will apple let go of the dreaded lightning port on the pro model? I want Prores, proresRaw would be awesome! But I don't even consider using it because I know how painful the workflow is going to be with the lightning port. Ugh so annoying!

Team iphone are getting Always on Display. This is absolutely amazing right.... 🤔
While my team Android have had this feature for over 4 years now.
But don't worry I'm sure apple will make it seem like it's the most amazing thing ever
