The Broken Girls is so so good it's creepy and once you start reading it you don't want to stop

Literally paused the video to look up The Broken Girls on Amazon and found it for 99p on Kindle! Bought! It sounds so interesting.

I read the Broken Girls this month and it easily the best book of the month for me. It's very eerie and scary in parts.

I just finished Circe and it is phenomenal - I couldn't put it down. I read The Broken Girls earlier this year (I also got both from BOTM!) and really enjoyed it, too. It is captivating until the very last page.

I read the Astonishing Color of After, and I’ll say, the associating color w/ feelings isn’t a huge part of the story. But you’ll certainly have to suspend belief when reading it.

Circe looks pretty good, but don't have a copy, and am not sure if I want to spend $$ on it right now. Speaking of BOTM though, they sent me an e-mail with the June selections, they are trying to get me to rejoin (I dropped my membership earlier

I really enjoyed The Broken Girls, I HATED our kind of Cruelty and I thought I would love that. :/ . I haven't read the others and I don't own them either.

Question about BOM. Can you only select from the 5 monthly books? Or are you able to select from all the books?

I felt the same about the Astonishing Color of After and the color thing is very prevalent through the whole book. It brought me out of it. There was also quite a bit of whimsy/magical realism that I just couldn't connect to. Overall I will probably never think of that book again after reading it. Very "meh" for me.
