Bruce Timm is definitely the Akira Toriyama of the DCAU. Constantly flubs timeline placements, gives wrong info, plotholes etc. But is hailed as the “all seeing all knowing” of the property world because he created it.

Probably shorter than it takes Watchtower Database to make that Teen Titans video

Okay, but what if Miss Martian was just saying that Robin USED TO BE a teenager and work alongside Batman, not that he CURRENTLY IS a teenager working alongside Batman.

3.57: By the way, the name Zeta came out in the latest episode of Arrow in flashforward.

I’d like to see a version of the DC universe where events happen in “real” time.
Superman Debuts in 1938, Batman in 1939, the JSA in the 40s, the JLA in the 50’s
Atlantis, Themyscera and the Green Lantern Corps etc etc...
The Teen Titans in the 1970s
The Dark Knight Returns in the mid 80’s and such
Possibly Batman Beyond in 1999 taking over the cowl, or Damien Wayne taking a similar role.
Blackest Night in 2009-2010

You get it. It’s like a catch all history that spans decades and all fits together.
But today (2020 as of this comment) we could have New events, new characters, a universe that changes over time, happening at the same time as our own.
Similar to the 2000AD/Judge Dredd universe

I think that would be cool

So...Miss Martian and Jessica Cruze are in the DCAU BEFORE their first comic appearance?
So this is like a reverse Harley Quinn situation?

I’m just glad that we get to see Robin next to Batman’s JLU design.

Surprised you guys don't use Google Slides for Notes. It's the most straight forward in my opinion.

You know, I really mean it when I say that you are really funny. The typ of Comedy you are useing is amazing. The timeing of jokes and the way you present them is perfect. you have a great feel for that but at the same time it seems to be very organic! very good. you are great and very funny!

the Return Of The Joker flashback scene is also the cutoff for Harley being known to still be alive too.

You guys are really good with these types of videos. Can't imagine the work it implies looking up for these clues of the timeline.

sadly, we'll never get another DCAU film involving Bruce Wayne's Batman as Kevin Conroy has passed away. May he forever R.I.P.

I always get the sense that Bruce Timm is really annoyed by the DCAU/comic book fandom in general. In interviews he often comes across like he doesn’t particularly want to be there (even in interviews for things like The Killing Joke before it got all of its negative reception.:.). And then, of course, we see how he gets when asked about the DCAU in basically any capacity. It’s kinda a shame, but Instill respect him immensely. I just wish he could come across a little more friendly.
