this piece (and your work in general) would be so interesting interpreted as ceramic tile!

underglaze behaves a little bit like gouache where it's matte and you can layer due to its opacity and still play with transparency. you can also play with different clay bodies the "underpainting" because the clay underneath the underglaze will affect its vibrancy/tone!!

At first I was liking the blue and then you colored it up and then I saw the final piece! Mind changed! That’s a very beautiful piece! Your work has common motifs so I see how people think it’s the same but it’s clearly not. You just live in a beautiful world in that mind of yours!
