Snapdragon plants are easy garden annuals. Anyone can grow these flowers in containers or in their garden bed. Just as easy as growing snapdragons is saving seeds from these plants to sow again in your garden. Here's a quick garden video on saving snapdragon seeds.

It's a good thing to know how to collect seeds from most of your easier plants like zinnia, portulaca, holly hocks, lavatera, marigolds, and many more. It's no joke when a pack of seeds are $2-4 each and you can collect $3000 worth of seeds in about a half hour. Makes you think.

I store my seeds in paper envelopes!  Right or wron, this is how I do it.  They won't mold in paper if there was any moisture left in the pods etc.  Great video!

Find out something new everyday... I just started planted flowers and plants, and I love snapdragons but I don't know much about them. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for sharing! Some of my snaps come back every year. I have one, huge plant that has come back for 4 years in a row as we live in a mild climate. But I didn't know how to harvest the seeds to use in other areas so I appreciate the video.

Thanks for showing this. Got a snapdragon plant from church this spring. I'm not good at plants but gonna give this a shot, hopefully they do the thing. 😅

Awesome video - can I just replant them after collecting to keep the plants going?

Do the plants always come back true the following year?

Can I cut the stalks off and let it dry to collect seeds or do I have to leave it on the plant Fitbit to dry and then collect seeds?

Thank you for the video. Do the green pods dry up after you cut the stem so I can harvest seeds from them?

Is there a time limit for how viable the seeds are? My mom had some snapdragon plants that have dried out pods like in the video but they stayed outside for the whole winter for months. So if I harvest the seeds now from the pods, could I still grow snapdragons from those seeds?
