Russian Blue Lena stalks me for treats

When Lena starts following you everywhere, there is only one reason!

My blue likes ham for a treat. He'll actually come and get me when ham is due, which is every three days. He'll come and sit pretty, do his talk and he leads me to the fridge. If I don't follow he'll come back and do his pretty sit stance and make more noise. He's funny because he'll stare at the fridge, once opened, he'll place his foot on the food product container that he knows is ham. He's pretty smart ! Only problem is that at 7 am, that is salmon time ! He won't let me sleep in.... I buy him fresh salmon and He loves it ! Well, I guess you can't go wrong with omega 3.

Lena looks so much like my Merlin once did, though more gracile than the hunk he was. He's 19 now and every is a blessing. The fur is bit duller, he's bonier, the kidneys don't want to work as well anymore, but he's still the cat of my life. May your Lena give you joy as long!

Seeing the two cats and hearing the baby cry in the background makes me think of Lady and The Tramp. Do you hear what I hear? A baby cry. Where we find a baby there are milk nearby!

My Russian Blue ("Natasha") was incredibly regimented about the timing of her meals. In the morning if I tried to sleep in she would jump up on my bed and meow or rub her nose against my face to get me to get her breakfast. And forget about weekends sleeping longer too---it had to be at ~7 AM every day.
