Man I love how this theme perfectly represents:
1) How hopeless working through winter can feel in this game, really makes it feel much more dire than it is without feeling forced since the song has a more neutral and calm sound to it.
2) the feeling of going to school with 5 hours of sleep, barely conscious on a dark winter morning as the cold wind slaps your face, making you shiver just about every 6 seconds.

I really enjoy this tune a lot. Even though I like the other ones about as much, this tune is so appropriate for winter. You can really feel how harsh the winter is, and it really gives the feeling of a struggle, a slow, painful one that is. But it still feels like I got to keep going, and so I do, in this harsh, frozen realm.

Favorite Don't Starve BGM by far. It's fascinating, it's almost a whimsical sense of hopelessness. It's as if it's saying, "I'm going to die, but why not make the most of the time I have left?" Very characteristic of the game as a whole.

Winter, a time where you make snowmen and I make resurrecting statue so I can re-spawn after dying by hounds. While others are awaiting Santa Claus, I'm awaiting Krampus to leave my chest alone! Others are joyful to death, I'm freezing to death. People wish there were penguins in their neighborhood, I wish they weren't in my territory. You're wearing earmuffs out of nice soft fabrics to look cute, I'm doing it so I can survive over three seconds ANYWHERE!

This song is quite interesting. It really fits winter because it sort of has that feeling of obligation to work for survival in it but it has a very cold sense as well. Fitting in well with a desperate scenario.

I feel that this song does a fantastic job of capturing the stress and lethargic attitude one must adopt when their life appears to be at its end, or futile. While it was harrowing and added to my stress, oddly enough, it inspired me to keep pushing on regardless.
