so for those who were curious about what the extruder is like, if youve ever been around a feed making machine its basically that, the corn meal gets pressed at such a high pressure that the water in the batter evaporates. The peices that come out are like the cheeto puffs and as they said when you fry those little dudes you get the irregular shape of the cheeto. You're welcome.

Last week, I went to Uwagamaya (a grocery store that particularly sells Japanese goods) and picked up a bag of Japanese Cheetos. It has a completely different recipe for the cheese mixture. It's really sweet. It's also more pale yellow whereas our Cheetos are orange. I decided to get a bag just in case it was different from the original American Cheetos but I hadn I idea it would be THAT different. Next time I go to Uwagamaya, I think I'll buy a bag of Japanese Doritos.

I grabbed a bag of baked Cheetos out of the pantry and decided to search for how Cheetos are actually made. So glad someone actually thought to let us know..lol.

Me: Let's google it.. oh here's the video.
The Video: *It's so top secret, we're not allowed to show you* .

1:25 This man is an icon. He came, he saw, he conquered, he slayed. This man takes pride in his career as someone who serves America in one of the greatest ways one man can: the national distribution of artificial cheese. Frank Armetta, you are my hero. Gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss.

Im amazed this company has never tried making other flavors for the corn puffs that form the base of cheetos. Cool ranch, salt and butter, barbeque, salt and vinegar, garlic and olive oil, so many different options. Hell, they could even make dessert ones like cinnamon sugar, peppermint, chocolate, etc. The puffs have such huge potential for holding in various flavors.

Maybe they don't want to dilute their brand or something.
