That is how to do a drone review. Thank you. I have a Fimi X8 Mini V2. The control response is a couple of milliseconds too slow for precision flying, but it's a great learner drone. I've used it to explore some cave entrances high up on a mountain. I hope Fimi fixes the camera focus problem with the Mini 3, because I was impressed with the low-light performance that you demonstrated. They make very good and inexpensive drones, but I'm with you. Bad focus is a deal breaker.

I reviewed the Fimi Mini 3 last summer and early fall, before sending it back, and I was very impressed with the video quality on this budget drone. But I never flew it in colder temps and had no idea it had focusing issue in the colder conditions. This is really a big issue for many flyers, I hope they get this resolved in the next generational. I live in a tropical climate country where the temperatures range between 24-33 degrees celsius. Fimi mini 3 has done a very good job and no issues with the camera focus

Ha ha ! I was just thinking about the jacket color at 2:14 when your comment showed up. Aside from the cold temp flying and with 2 batteries I'd say it needs to be priced about $100.00 less than advertised on Amazon. If they fixed the video issue and added another battery I'd be happy with the $449.99 price. Great job on the review, all the other features and handling were impressive. Thank you so much for doing this video! I was very close to pulling the trigger on this drone for filming some camping and hiking adventures. The temperature issue is a huge negative for me as I only do cold weather camping and it is always well below 30F and that fuzzy focus is kinda rough. Anyway, thanks for your review, you were very thorough and I love the format.

I've purchased the first fimi mini x8 an the v2. The v 2 starting flying apart in flite. It was to late to warrant return. Th e 2nd mini v2. Flipped over an burned the motor left rear up not any luck. Sd card videos were good. What I got while flying. So all said an done. Dji mini4pro is now in possession. An loving it. I appreciate the detail in your video. I sold my DJI Air 2. I wanted better optics. My Air 3S was held up in customs so that didn't happen. I looked at the specs for this drone and thought they were beyond what I would see at this price point. They are impressive. I wanted this to just play around with. When I decide on a drone with stellar optics I will go back with DJI. Being a professional photographer, optics are important as is the sensor size. I think this is a good drone for the money.

As an X8 Pro/TX10A owner I can tell you that FIMI routinely uses substandard parts, has subpar quality control and FIMI will never admit a mistake or flaw in the equipment or the actions FIMI takes or doesn't take when an owner of one of their drones has a problem. FIMI does not have any sort of dedicated return service. You must navigate the complicated shipping of a hazmat item to China which has many pitfalls. For example, should you insure the shipment for the replacement value of the drone, Chinese customs will add a tariff fee of 20-50%. To avoid additional tariff fee, you can only declare the package value at $40 or less. Secondly, you must agree to abide by whatever decision FIMI makes regarding to the cause of the issue that you need fixed. If they decide the problem was caused during shipping or by the user, you will be presented with an additional amount of money you must pay to have the drone repaired. Then you will have to pay FIMI to ship it back to you. Or you can have them return the drone without repair, but still have to pay return shipping. FIMI lied to me multiple times and I will absolutely NEVER buy another FIMI or Xiaomi product again.

Love it! I think it’s important to note that the AI super night mode is meant for low light environments and if you use it when the sun is sitting, there’s a very noticeable difference

I was actually looking at the larger X8 Tele. FIMI has really upped the game at a low price point. I can't fault them for not having everything DJI, or Autel does.

As someone who bought this drone in Canada during the winter... I was super disappointed, especially considering that their specs state it should be fine around 0° C. However, after testing it down in Honduras, I was glad to find that it still works perfectly, and gives great results. Flies very stable, great image quality for the price, and a decent radio range.
