A message for the Business Council of Australia: Facts matter.

When you described a 45% emissions reduction target for Australia as 'economy wrecking', you ignored the facts.

There is no evidence to support your claim. Australia Institute research finds the electricity sector can reduce emissions by far more than 45% with minimal impact on the economy.

And if you're a member of the BCA? Ask your peak body to clarify the climate & energy policy it promotes on your behalf.

And please, this time, stick to the facts.
