Tailypo is an Appalachian tale. A hunter goes out with his three dogs. While in the woods the hunter spies a strange creature and tries to kill it, but only gets its tail. That night he fries it up and eats the tail with his dogs. The next day he is hunting and one of his dogs disappears. That night he hears a gravelly voice going "tailypo tailypo, I want my tailypo". It repeats the next two days with his other two dogs disappearing. The final night he's huddled around the fire waiting for dawn so he can go home. The gravelly voice gets closer and closer saying "tailypo tailypo I want my tailypo!" When the creature attacks and kills the hunter. (Some variations of the ending involve more disturbing details). The hunters brothers come out looking for him and just find the remains of his camp and no signs of the hunter or his dogs.

Damn, this is a very well thought-out and engaging Visual Novel. I really like how you can customize your protagonist's characteristics to obtain certain details that would be revealed to you only if you have that particular trait. It adds a little more replay value.

The Mystic trait seems good at unnerving characters with foreboding words and giving predictions of what's generally going to happen and spotting supernatural atmosphere, like that deer scene. Keen Eye is more of being observant of what's around you in detail.
