Nelly Ben Hayoun @ ISU - Space Experience Design

Dr. Nelly Ben Hayoun is a French designer and award-winning director who recently gave a lecture at the International Space University on Space Experience Design, followed by a workshop, in which the whole Master of Space Studies MSS18 class happily took part.
She works with scientists and engineers to devise events and experiences, such as the International Space Orchestra (ISO), the world’s first orchestra of space scientists from NASA Ames Research Center, the Singularity University, the International Space University and the SETI Institute.
She collaborated with many artists such as Sigur Rós, The Prodigy, Beck, Damon Albarn among others.
In 2015, she was nominated for a Women of the Year Achievement Award which rewards women 'who have made a significant achievement'.
In 2017, she launched with the Sandberg Institute, the University of the Underground, a university providing a Master in Design of Experiences and based in the underground of the urban spaces in London and Amsterdam, which aim is to support unconventional research practices.
