This PGA vs. LIV thing feels a lot like UEFA vs. the Super League. Except, UEFA is a far stronger entity than PGA, and the fans unilaterally hated the Super League.

There are plenty of professional golf leagues outside the PGA. The PGA is not a monopoly. Mickelson and the others are there for one reason: MONEY!!!

In any other sport could a player say that he is going to play in both his regular league and in the new competitor league that is directly competing against it, at the same time? Its strange that some of the players think that would be reasonable for either league to allow that. And indeed, by contract the LIV would not allow that. And those contractually bound LIV players think that the PGA should?

This is selective targeting against Phil Mickelson we have professional soccer players who can play for whatever country under the auspices of any foreign league's and nobody says anything. We don't say anything to MLS players or women's basketball players during the off season.
