Khalil proved that he deserved the title shot and deserved to be in there with Poatan. Khalil did better than hill and jiri put together. Brotha stood on business and kept his promise that he would not shoot for a takedown and stay standing with Poatan the whole fight. What's really crazy is that if he had a gameplan that perfectly mixed in takedowns with striking, he might've actually found a way to win. Khalil fought Poatan, where Poatan is strongest, and so far, no one except Izzy has been able to do that and be victorious.

Hill is completely on point with his arguments, his loss doesn't deny that Khalil doesn't deserve title shot whatsoever and mismatch arguments are up to a debate of course but on paper he's absolutely right
