Pandyan rulers initially did not participated in Mahabharata Krishna advised the ruler to provide food for the entire army ! It is said tht the quantity of food prepared was so accurate tht not even a single grain of rice went to waste! In fact the chera and the cholas are the longest surviving empire as well and all three were present during Mahabharata!
