“Keep professional wrestling for the professionals, not the predators.” Spot on. Couldn’t have said it any better myself.

Not to detract from the seriousness of the topic, but "we wouldn't be cancelling people if the ratings weren't so shitty" is a great line.

If anyone wants to know why people don't always immediately report sexual assault or harassment, just read some of the more vile and ignorant comments on this video and you'll understand why.

This channel got me back into wrestling. Your thoughtful commentary is part of the reason why.

I'm going to be blunt, you shouldn't believe either the alleged victim nor the accused without evidence. You sympathies with the alleged victim but remain impartial.

HR protects the company not the Humans in Human Resources. It MUST be a neutral 3rd party (as Brian said).

I respect this movement and I'm against sexual harrassment. But some people have been using this movement to their advantage, lying about getting sexually harrassed, to ruin other people's lives, which just baffles me. Lying about such things is not okay.

It makes me sad that people I enjoyed watching are being accused of or did abuse someone. As a year for wresting and everything in general:2020 will be one of the darkest years in modern history. I hope all of you can get though this tough time and I hope we can make good of what we have left of this year.

So, we should take every accusation seriously even if there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever?...even when it could ruin an innocent man's life? Once you're tried and found guilty in the court of public opinion that is social media it doesn't matter if you're found innocent in an actual court or if it's revealed that the accusations were false as your name has already been sullied. There needs to be a hashtag encouraging women to report such crimes to the actual authorities and dont try and say that rape or sexual assault claims are low on the police's list as that's a load of crap.

I do respect your stance as it is your right to have one but I vehemently disagree! Rape allegations should be treated like any other allegation... The accused is innocent until proven guilty. While this is not an invitation to just dismiss the accusers and their claims, it's just common sense, an accusation is not evidence for a wrongdoing... Let's take a nuanced approach here so we don't take everyone down with the bad eggs

As someone who is new to the business (1.5 years), and also works in the mental health field as a peer support specialist THANK YOU for covering this topic as extensively as you have.

There was a huge scandal with pat patterson and Vince was even on the Phil Donahue show back in 90' along with Barry Orton to point some fingers.

I agree with everything in this except for blindly believing one side or another. I think the best course of action is to bring attention to the situation but not take sides until either side of the story has evidence or witnesses or other people who have dealt with that same person in similar fashion. I always sit firmly on the fence and let it pan out until there is something to back up either arguement enough that a decision can be made

I was trained as a Social Worker and have seen both sides of therapist and one in therapy. Right now, many who have come forward have had emotional scar tissue torn off and it HURTS. Those souls need help and support. The bastards who committed those crimes need to be investigated and prosecuted.
I am sure those of with consciences are doing serious soul searching. Good. Let's be thoughtful and accountable so this breach of trust and emotional destruction stops. The best and farthest reaching solutions require the most work and reflection.
So, let's get to work.
