Much respect bud! I started my first company at 17. I was the only kid in high school with a business. Ive had three different businesses now a and I do very well. You’re on the right track.
I’m gonna disagree on the motor though. At least for my 61’s I had Spartans (dont buy them by the way, complete garbage), I had the fx850 27HP and the were okay, but they bogged on my lawn at over 4”. Great motor otherwise. The motors outlived the crappy mowers they were attached to.

Yeah man I agree with you 100%! The guys in my area that do it for a living have a trailer with exmarks on them. There’s a reason for that. That’s what made me buy a Lazer Z e series for my farm.

I just got the 72 inch lazer z x series with the 37 hp vanguard with the oil guard. It really comes down to cut time. The vanguard runs faster. I have two 13 acre properties and my new mower saves me about 20 minutes.

I bought a Lazer Z after hearing people rave about it, its an ok machine, basic like you mentioned... its basic, nothing wrong with that. Doesn't stripe worth a shit in my weed yards and does a "bleh" job at best on my fertilized & irrigated yards. My Tiger Cat II throws grass farther out of the deck, stripes anything that grows (and does a hell of a better job at it any day of the week; no stripe kit on it), and doesn't need a double cut half the amount of time my Exmark (I like to call it the Shitmark, no shortage of small problems with it). Will be buying more Velocity+ decks and no more Ultracuts - it's whatever works the best for you and your business at the end of the day. I got a quote from a dealer for almost $23, 000 for a 60" Lazer Z X series with a bagger, Scag says $19, 500 for a 38HP Cheetah 2 with a bagger too. I don't have a Weingartz with the zero downtime and have been very disappointed with the 60" Lazer Z with the FX801V. (But the engine has behaved... so far...)

Have you ever considered buying a ventrac in the future? Or mowing some retention ponds and steep banks? Just curious.

I have the '21 Toro ZT4000 - very similar machine, exact same motor. Do yourself a favor and junk that chute blocker and install a QwikChute - hands down perfection over that chute of yours. Question - why is there so much grass clippings on your deck as well as all over the foot platform? I've cut 8-10 acres lawns and have never seen more than a few blades of grass, cutting 6"-8" lawn at 3-1/4" height. Curious. Nice review - that is a great machine!

Are there any zero turn mowers with an opening on the front of the deck so that it doesn't push down large woody weeds?

That mower exhaust blows out where the flex pipe is. I have 3 of them. Still a good strong reliable mower.

I have two Ferris 3300, nobody can beat the suspension on these mowers and carburetor ? I went with efi and save over 30% on fuel .
