I really "Wish" they'd release these the day before the new season to get people hyped a little before hand. Releasing them the day of doesn't get me any more excited to play the new season, I'm already about to play it in a few hours!

So I'm convinced that Destiny 2 is an anime game at this point. Guardians armor looks like mechs, we have a fishing mini game, we have waifus, Riven is basically our version of Shenron from DBZ, and we have a massive cash shop similar to other JRPGS. All that plus being owned by a Japanese company now.

I'd imagine this season will be very similar to season of the Deep, they reveal a big magic creature, you "help" it by doing seasonal activities, and then we have to wait seven months for it to do anything. As much as I like the prospect of interacting with Riven, I wouldn't put it past Bungie to make her feel as trivial a set piece as Aisha was, because they didn't anticipate it'd have to be good enough for the initial season duration, let alone seven months due to the delay k

I never will understand the point of releasing a trailer for a season a few hours before it’s out. The point of marketing and trailers is to get people interested and grow excitement over a period of time… releasing it pretty much at the same time as people can play it anyways almost defeats the purpose.

It’s even more baffling knowing they USED to do it right and would release trailers for seasons a few days to a week before it would release. They knew what worked and went backwards… why?

Notice that when the text of Last Wish fades away it briefly changes into 15th Wish? that is such a cool detail.
