Death being the most patient and understanding being ever is such an awesome trope.
I love what he symbolizes in these comics, as he is not trying to get anyone, he is just guiding the souls to their next adventure.

"You do not leave life you follow it to the next chapter" I like that it's a nice way to think of it, and "life is not the beginning death is not the end" is another good way to think of it because one can't exist without the other.

It's nice seeing such a loving perception of death. It makes dying feel less depressing if you believe that you will have someone to comfort you on the journey to the afterlife.

My aunt got rushed into the hospital today, to find out that she had a brain tumor, and probably wouldn’t see tomorrow. This made me cry, thinking about what her daughter would do, what she would do, and what I’d do. Thank you

Edit: she didn’t make it past today. But I hope for best in the future

3 years ago, my classmate from High School had passed away unexpectedly and he never knew it was the day he'll leave this world. I saw his spirit, he was surprised that I can see him and I can hear him. He was confused, he didn't know what happened and told him what his sister had announced on Facebook and he was distraught.

Thankfully my grandparents were here too since they already left this world years earlier comforted him and convinced him to return to his family. He later returned to thank me for helping him and he found his grandparents too who offered him to take him home.
