📻 “The Complete Standard Transcriptions: Bob Crosby and The Bobcats” (1930s-1950s) by Bob Crosby and The Bobcats

One of my favorite jazz voices of the last century. I’m more into calm songs performed by him and his orchestra, but swingy ones are dope as well. Sadly the albums with my favorite tracks are not found on vinyl and this one, I guess, is a CD, so I’ve decided to include this one here, but oh man how I dream to play Crosby on vinyl. This guy has so many tracks I’d call favorite that I’m sure I’ll mention him more than once in here.

Used in video:
▪️Sing to Me
▪️Did Anyone Ever Tell You Mrs. Murphy
▪️Fool’s Paradise

Personal favorites of this album:
▪️Way Back Home
▪️Fool’s Paradise
▪️Did Anyone Ever Tell You Mrs. Murphy
▪️Politics
▪️Bye Bye Baby
▪️Dear Hearts and Gentle People
▪️Broken Down Merry-Go-Round
▪️Happy Times
▪️The Old Master Painter
▪️But Me, I Love You
▪️Sing To Me
▪️I Don’t Know Whether to Laugh or Cry
▪️Charley, My Boy

Have to mention I don’t own any rights for the music I post and I’m simply sharing the short samples of my favorite tracks. Furthermore, every sample is edited and mixed with a “radio-noise”, therefore it’s not the original track anymore.

I hope Bob Crosby becomes more popular, and doesn’t become forgotten.
