Canelo Alvarez had a hand injury going into the Bivol fight and there's a video where Canelo is telling Eddie Reynoso that his hand is bothering him right before the fight while he's getting his hands wrapped. Canelo never talks about it, but the video shows clearly how his hand is not fully healed.

I usually agree with your takes, but it's clear to see you have some real bias against Benavidez. Now he's not even a good fighter. If he wasn't good, Canelo would have fought him just like he fought all these other overrated fighters. He clearly did not want to and that's because he saw something in him that he hasn't seen in the likes of Ryder, Berlanga, Munguia and Charlo.

Other than that, you were spot on with Vergil Ortiz and that fake news BS that's spreading all over X and YouTube.

I’d imagine that the news the Bivol v Benevidez fight was close came from Samson himself, bearing in mind he’s the only one who commented on it and it comes off the back off the WBC ruling. I’m not convinced Bivol’s team will want to fight on a PBC show. And in any case Matchroom wouldn’t want to rock the boat with Turki, whilst getting nothing out of it other than a potential ambush by PBC and a bit of cash. They are more likely to drop the belt and fight Arthur.

If Bivol and Bena fight, it’ll likely be by July. I can see Team Bena dragging this out. Either way, neither of the Mexicans can beat Bivol. He just has their number.

If I was Turki I would've kept myself in the running, then not bid. PBC will bid high just for the sake of image, but expecting to lose, then get stuck with a fight they can't afford.

The splits will be set by the WBC, Bivol will have to be paid, the costs of the event will have to be met, David will have to accept he's not getting paid so Hayman and the fanboys can pretend it's all fine at the PBC.
