I rode this like 15 years ago, it was my first “real” coaster and I loved it so much. It was a walk-on that day so we rode it 4 times in a row. (Same day my auntie threw out her back on the old Gwazi, yikes that was rough!)

Something about B&M Dives are so cool even if they aren't forceful or intense. Its the anticipation and massive drop.

this is similar to Griffon at Busch Gardens Williamsburg...I love that ride and I know I would love this one.

Story time!
So when I got off Tigris I was like wow that vertical drop was good but I guess I was high on adrenaline cause I’ve never done a vertical drop before so Tigris was my first and then I see sheikra and based on how much I loved Tigris I was hoping to love the drop on sheikra too! And I did!

Sheikra has the best theming & overall setting of any dive coaster, imo. BGT is just a beautiful park, anyways: the landscaping, the flow of the park. it’s always a relaxing experience, even in the humid, hot, summer weather (which I love as a native South Floridian). Valravn is my favourite layout & general dive coaster experience, but Sheikra is special. the view of the TB area at the top of the hill is classic. & I think the pause at the top of the initial dive is one of the longest ones, making it worth the short layout.

I have an annual pass and have gone several times in the past few months. The last few times, they were only running one train on all the B&M's and the queue on this one really stacked up.
