Handing over a foster dog to their new family is such a bittersweet experience. You know you're going to miss them, but finding them a good forever home with people who'll take good care of them is so rewarding.

I rescued my Trinity who was a week away from being put down in a county shelter here in Florida. I went to the shelter to look and when she looked up at me with those soulful eyes, I simply melted. I believe that dogs know when they are being rescued. They just know. God bless this guy for saving a sweet and loving soul like Mosey.

Thank God you rescued this sweet, adorable, handsome boy! It makes me sick to think that he was so close to being euthanized. That would have been a catastrophe. Instead, he has a wonderful home and family! And you did that for him.

I rescued my boi the day he was to be murdered too! His golden eyes melted my heart. As the employees finished up the adoption process, they casually mentioned "oh, he was to be euthanized today." ....and it was closing time as they said this. Because he was nearly a dead boi, we named him Zombie. He's asleep on my bed right now, 12 years later.

Jon is an angel. Mosey could have met his end in loneliness, but Jon reversed that with the magic of love and compassion.

I thank God every day for people like Jon. Their love and compassion is what makes this world a better place.
