So many Muslim women struggle with this aspect of polygamy. Whenever they express their feelings about it they are gaslit and guilted into accepting it. Guilted into it by saying crap like “ you can’t hate what Allah has made halal. “ I feel so bad for this woman.

Great stream! I'm a woman and I was told that I left Islam because I was emotional- after my ex made me his second wife (which I didn't know- he eventually divorced her) and after I was hit multiple times by him. Imams told me to go back to him and have 'sabr'. I was promised Jannah. My patience wore off when I was hit right after having a c-section with my son. I realised he doesn't view me as a human and that my child would not be safe too. I started reading about Islam because I was wondering whether this is Islam. My ex said he can hit me. I left Islam once my eyes were opened by studying the Qur’an and ahadith. Now I'm remarried and bellydancing and finishing higher education. I'm looking forward to the rest of my life doing the things I like. But it took me 10 years of hell and moving around from country to country to country. I even had an IS fighter threaten me online (my husband probably contacted him as he is from the region near the border of Syria/Turkey). Women, there can be a life after Islam and a life after domestic abuse. ❤

My jaw dropped when he said you’re so emotional to that woman … sometimes I forget how misogynistic Muslims are

They tell you to wear a niqab to be respected, thank you zakir for showing everyone what respecting a woman in islam means. I am shocked and disgusted

It truly terrifies me that the ideas and worldview of Zakir Naik actually resonate with so many people...

Summery of the video: *Zakir Naik avoids answering her question and blames her for everything* then says: "i hope that answers the question"

He is so angry and annoyed by her, yet calls her emotional 😂

I do not understand how any woman can justify this religion. I understand many are forced, but i just feel sad for them.

When my husband told me that he is allowed to take a second wife, I told him, I´m glad to pack his bags. That´s the last I heard about that idea. Ladies, you´re much more than they percieve to be. The way he gas lights her is incredible. But, then again, this is a scenario of Turkeys for Thanks Giving kind of thing. She´s still a believer and a follower of the faith. I sympathise with her. However, as a woman you cannot seek justice in the Islamic world. Men usually call the shots there. I´m Ex-Muslim, and that´s the best I did for my mental health.

The Muslim lady is so admirable, just imagine being in her shoes, standing there and becoming more and more aware that you are basically alone, even though the place is packed with people and even though they are also Muslims. Thanks for the video Aladdin.

I'm unmarried by choice. I'm nobody's property.

This guy is so insulting towards any female questioner, this was straight up woman bashing. You can tell how he had no intentions of taking this question in good faith. He straight up laughs, deflects, minimizes her trauma of being basically cheated on and is quick to blame her for her situation by saying

"so why didn't you just say no in the past to an event happening now? lmaooo woman be quiet no talk"

Holy crap this was raw cancer to watch.

Zakir Naik demonstrates how threatened he feels by a woman. A suffering woman who is pleading for help.

I am an exmuslim woman and I have never commented on the videos and after hearing Zakis Naik*s BS, I just can't can't take it and muslims still consider him as a scholar and getting proud of him promoting Islam...like WTH man where are the morals and respect towards women this community portrays to have.

Even as a Western woman, I am a bit timid and at times find it difficult to speak up about certain issues in my relationship. I can't imagine being in her situation and feeling so lost and confused when her husband is suddenly gone with another woman, and then to be told that it's her fault! There's something called common decency, regardless of religion...to at least let your wife know that you want to take another wife, to discuss how to keep things fair between the two families, to keep her in the loop about her own life! Because it affects her every day...she obviously doesn't work, has no way to earn an income herself, and just has to live off of the whims of her irresponsible husband.

I study Conservative faiths, and I honestly couldn't get through half of it. Its so fucked up. Trying to get her to say it was her fault that she did not demand a clause she did not know was hers to make.. that's not even gaslighting that's just evil

In China, there is a surplus of a few tens of millions young men due to strict one-child policy of the Chinese government. By Naiks logic, Chinese women should have the option of having more than one husband

How silly, he makes women public property if they are not married! That means all Muslim men consider women as their property? Women can live happy and free without a husband!

Funny that Zakir Niak trained as a medical doctor so i expected him to know how to respond to someone experiencing psychological distress.
