Saying "Muslim Feminist" is like saying "Kosher Nazi".

“Islamophobia, ” which has the effect of intimidating people into thinking that it is somehow wrong to speak about the root causes of jihad terror and Sharia oppression of women.

I believe what she’s subtly trying to say without causing a riot is, a woman is not a car or a goat, you can’t own a woman, she can’t physically do the same job as us but she can come and go as she pleases and she doesn’t need permission from any of us. 🙏🏾

This is a good example of how to not answer a question and get away with it.

The reality in Muslim countries is that women are not treated equally in terms of equal opportunities. Having read the Quran, in full, I find that not only does it undermine women's rights it also undermines the rights of other faiths, people of no faith and people who wish to leave the Islamic faith. This is why I believe you must separate religion from politics. Whilst I believe that everyone should have a right to practice in their faith, there is a need to separate of religion from politics and government. There is not one single Islamic country I would want to live in today.

If you say that islam has equal gender rights, why dont you justify them with references to quran verses. And also answer about those verses which clearly speak about oppressing women.

Its a shame how much we will entertain islam before that ideology goes too far and we have to put it down in a catastrophic atrocity.

0:30 Biologically, it's a fact that women on average are weaker than men physically, but that doesn't determine if they can start a family or own an office. I appreciate your words, Malala, I hope you go far in life.

Equality !! There a lot of things that says otherwise!! for example in Inheritance the son takes the half while the daughter takes only 1/4
Also A man can mary more than one wife and a women can't
A man can travel alone and a women cant
And more and more !!

Quran gave rights to woman

But Muslims still aren't getting those rights .
I asked 2 of my friends if they prefer wearing hijab or not, both said they prefer not wearing hijab and i asked why, one of them said "it's our religion we should wear it" and the other said that people will judge her if she doesn't wear hijab

How can you claim that there are equal rights when testimony of women is half of that of man.

In Islam, it does not forbid women to work or stay inside, it’s culture that does. Please blame culture instead of generalizing religion with most things in culture.

I can’t believe she is still a Muslim after newly losing her life under Islamic law.

These comments are very disappointing, none of you seem to think there's a problem with Christian women being feminists even though the bible literally says all the same stuff about women that the Quran does.

"Please tell me what to wear though." Sigh. She doesn't see it. As is often the case with religion. Also...does she live in an Islamic country?

When people talk about Muslim women's rights I always think of the joke.

_*A foreigner goes to an Islamic country to see a friend. He sees the women walking six paces behind the men.
"Why's this?"
"Tradition."
Six months later he goes back and sees the women walking in FRONT of the men.
"Progress?"
"No. Landmines."
