[MHW: ICEBORNE] Quick Sheathe on LS Iai Slash

Just started Iceborne and switching from CB to LS. Really enjoying the new moveset, makes the LS flow better I think. I made a quick video trying to see how the difference.
Question for those seasoned LS users, do you advice using Quick Sheathe on skill loadout or something else? Is it similar to using Focus on GS? Is that split second important when actually fighting monsters?

Love to hear your thoughts.

I knew Rise improved the effects of Quick Sheathe a fair bit, but I didn't think the difference between none and level 3 was almost non-existent in Iceborne...

Seasoned MHW LS user here:
Not much, Quick Sheathe doesn't change much for Iai Slash moves.
Pretty much want to use regular Iai Slash to make your spirit gauge auto fill and then occasionally spirit Iai Slash when a monster is about to attack you at the end of a combo.
For the most part you're going to play as you did in base World.
Iai Slash is a good way to keep attacking without stopping and the end of a combo

quick sheathe isn't very viable in iceborne, if you really want to make your life easier with your play then you should add charger(focus) and enhancer(power prolonger) to your loadout so you don't need to worry about maintaining that charge so much. High level play just uses plain damageboosts(attack boost, critical eye, critical boost & weakness exploit), and besides that health boost for tanking more hits.

Quick Sheath is for putting the weapon away. not for the Iaijutsu. Can you show the difference between lv0 and lv3 by actually putting away your weapon please?
(Still, it's interesting that it has an effect on the Iaijutsu tho... And if they buffed that in Rise even further, nice!)

Rise qs feels quick. World quick sheath doesnt have 'quick' .
