But is it really worth the extra $860 over economy class? I’ll compare the two seating options, covering seat pitches, in-flight entertainment, food service, and overall comfort. Boarding began on time with no delays, and I settled into my seat on Condor Airlines, excited to see what amenities awaited me.

Each passenger received a light blanket, a soft pillow, cute striped socks, toothpaste, a small toothbrush, a sleep mask, and a generous bottle of water. The courtesy of providing water was appreciated, as flight attendants didn’t frequently offer refills.

Condor's Premium Economy seats provide ample legroom and adjustable footrests, which stood out to me. Economy Class boasts a seat pitch of 29.9 inches (76 cm), while Premium Economy offers 35 inches (89 cm), making a noticeable difference in comfort.

Each seat has a USB A/C connection and a holder for mobile devices. Inflight entertainment is impressive, available on a 13.3-inch in-seat 4K monitor, and you can use wireless headphones via Bluetooth or the standard ones provided.

I just flew Condor in Premium Economy and it was free drinks all the way, even alcoholic. Food and snacks were plenty and the flight attendants came by with water frequently. There is a premium economy galley by doors 2L/R. You said you went to the back of the plane. I’m not sure but maybe the crew didn’t realize you were in premium economy?

I’m 6’2 and it was totally worth it having the extra legroom. I was able to stretch out my legs all the way without bothering the person in front of me.

I just finished our first flight on Condor- Frankfort to PDX nonstop in premium economy. Great leg room, decent airline food, and free drinks. They actually poured Johnnie Walker Black out of the full bottle instead of mini bar bottles. I did wish they had games on their entertainment system to pass the time. Highly recommend the upgrade.

I fly 3-4 times a year with Condor in Premium Economy. I never had to pay for drinks and snacks, even wine was free. I never need snacks on Condor flights because they serve a lot of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I think the problem was that you went to the back of the plane. At the back of the plane they serve normal Economy. You had to go to the front of the plane. There they serve Premium Economy and Business ;)

After reviewing [your] experience onboard flight on this airline, thankfully I would never fly with the airline at all. Their competition has always afforded free beverages and snacks even in economy in the back galley of the aircraft’s lounge. Thank you fir such a vivid view of their policies in Premium Economy!

i flew with them too and they always come and serve water and give plastik cups.. snacks you have to buy ... but my card didnt work so i got it free... in both flights...

You cannot compare Condor with Lufthansa, Austrian or Swiss. Condor is considered a leisure airline, which is why you have to pay for snacks, for example. And as a leisure airline Condor concentrates more on the in-flight sale of food and drinks than Lufthansa and co for example. This is the explanation for the "snack drama". 🙂

I also have to say, on an intercontinental flight of 11 hours, the airline should be able to give out a few free drinks and snacks in between, Condor won't go bankrupt as a result... I find customers unfriendly, thanks for the nice video ...

thank you for the information on Condor. I only fly Premium if Business Class is booked and I need to travel. I read many disappointing issues with service with CONDOR. i have never tried the airline. Should I try their business from Toronto to Frankfurt

Even though I’m in a fight with United right now I’d choose their PE over that PE every time. Pay for snacks? Not a chance. PE on United allows for free snacks and alcohol. Shameful of Condor to charge for that.

That's crazy that in premium or even in basic economy, you have to pay for snacks or non-alcoholic drinks. Other airlines for international travel, gave snacks, and even alkohol.

Whaaaat? No repeated servings of drinks and at least a snack (besides the meal) for free? Wow. That is really bad and making Condor a second line choice for long-distance flights. I recently flew with British Airways in Premium Economy and was very satisfied with the repeated and really continuous service.
