In this Top 5 video, Jina will take you through the countries which have the most universities as of 2021, using data from Webometrics’ Ranking of World Universities and Statista Research.

We won't spoil the ranking for you, but we still might give you a clue. The country which comes in first place has 5,288 universities, is the seventh largest country by area, and is the second-most populous country in the world. Fun fact, its largest university also hosts around 3.5 million students!
