A friend suggested I listen to your content after divorce. Will have to admit I was completely oblivious to why she would divorce me. I was Beta-tized through a thousand concessions was married 7.5 years. She constantly told me she wishes I was the man she married. I just turned 64, getting divorced for the second time. Current wife is 20 yrs younger. We have been married 8 years. Just no longer had the desire or energy to put up with her demands for my time and energy. And quite honestly, I have just lost my desire to be around a woman. I spent the majority of my life wasting time, energy, and resources chasing tail. And now at 64, I could take it or leave it. I have learned there are very, very few women worth the price of admission. For 8 or 9 out of 10 guys marriage is a life of compromise, regret, and ultimately losing a lot of what you have.

When you are with a lady who is right for you, and you are right for her, spending time with her should be as relaxed and enjoyable as having a pet cat curled up and snuggling on your lap = it just 'feels right'. If the lady you are with likes to create drama, start fights, tell her once that you won't put up with that and that's her first and last warning. The next time she creates drama, dump her and move on to find a lady who won't behave badly like that. Drama usually ends up in a future divorce.

Good video, Rich. I bought your book a few weeks ago and am currently reading it. I have a good job, own a home, play competitive rec league sports with some good guys, and am in great shape. However, I did get ghosted by a girl I really hit it off with after newly becoming single after an 8 year LTR in late August. So this video was perfect. I'm diving too deep into whether she got back with her ex or if things were moving too far along and she got spooked and then all of a sudden block me. I'm sure it doesn't really matter and I just need to chase excellence.

The "genuine burning desire" concept has been very helpful for me. On dating apps now, I always look for the women who reply with like 3 or 4 messages in a row, the ones who are complimenting me and asking me questions. No need to waste time with ones who reply with a single word and will probably flake later anyway. I want the relationships where it's going to be easy to keep her around, even if I'm dating other women too, and even if I don't give her as much time as she wants. Only dating women who have genuine burning desire makes your life so much easier.

4. Not prioritizing your health
5. Wasting your precious time
6. Wanting something (instead write a plan and work towards it)
7. Chasing meaningless relationships
8. Wasting or draining your energy from beating your meat 🥩
9. Wasting time by scrolling social media
10. Bad habit for good (if you have those – gaming, dirty websites, binge eating – consider stopping it as it makes you mentally weak + affects your confidence and all other areas of your life!)

Loved this one. So simple, but a hard lesson for most to learn. Except- when you are married with kids....then you need to put up with some of their crap, at least for the short term, as they do yours.

At 51 and married for the past 24 years, I wish I had known this earlier. While married with kids is great, I would never marry again if something happened and I would have married a lot later in life. My drive, focus on my career, job and business has always been a point of stress with my wife and kids. Focusing just on me and my business with some occasional tail would have made life a lot easier. There is really not rush if you have your sh&t together, look good and make bank.
