I love Mechanix gloves. I need one of those wolf gray colors to go with the new maxpedition bag (wolf spur) when it comes out.

Yeah mine seem to evolve every time I put them on. They probably have some poindexter nerd guy on staff who figured out the perfect durability ratio, just enough to piss you off but not enough to keep you from ordering more. Great gloves but wear out fast. The wolf grey looks great TLBS. Thanks for posting.

I want it but it is way too easy to lose gloves in the field so I always carry a couple in case I lose a few in the dark

I'm looking into the new "Wolf Grey" style tactical glove. I like the color & features. I owned a charcoal grey pair of PIG-Alpha brand gloves in 2015. They were tight(size: L) then began to tear apart with regular use(range shooting/pistols). Not good for tactical grade kit. Mechanix has been in the industry for a long time, so I will try them out. I'd add that I purchased a pair of Hatch "Shorty" Operator gloves a few years ago. Those Hatch gloves were a major let-down. The QC was sub par & they didn't feel or fit my hands. It would be great if a firm put out Nomex or Kelvar duty gloves that were worth a damn after a few months or years.

Fingertips wear out quickly, except on their leather Fabricator glove I love. I've bought more than a dozen pairs of this brand and I'm disappointed in how this company's ethics have raced to the bottom.
Compare their old warranty against their current one:
2005: "We stand behind every product we sell. If at *any time* you are not absolutely pleased with our products, please let us know. Should any Mechanix Wear be damaged by normal use, Mechanix Wear will repair or replace it.*LIFETIME*
2016: "Should any Mechanix Wear product not perform to your satisfaction due to a material or craftsmanship defect *within 90 days* of purchase we will repair or replace them.
