How To Fix Slow Download Speed On Tarkov

Command:
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal

For People wondering what this command does, this command basically turns an inbuilt feature within windows off and on again. For people running an old system, this command can potentially cause more problems. If by the rare chance it does, simply type the first command shown and not the second one and it should be resolved. If you have any other problems, just comment and i'll resolve them for you.

Hi Guys,
For those who don't see the results the other user's are, please ensure you have pause or closed the Tarkov download. You may also find that restarting your device after running the command could show the results.
Due to me wanting to make the video short and sweet, i didn't go into detail regarding which user's this may not work for. For all Windows 8 & below, this guide will not work.

If you still experience slow downloads, let me know & i can make a follow up video going into more detail about other ways you might be able to resolve this.

Works, went from 1mbps to 11-12mbps. Can't believe I havent heard of this trick before.

Make sure you pause and unpause your download after you input the commands. Give it a few seconds and bam!

Pause download, then run command, then resume. This is the answer I was looking for because it's the only way it actually worked. Nobody's bullshitting it definitely makes a huge difference.

To help anyone that might be confused. Pause Tarkov download, insert the 2 commands one at a time, then unpause the download. Worked for me. Went from 150kbps to 5mbps.

Well it worked for about 20 seconds all the way to 70mb/s and now it’s back to 375kb/s but hey worth a try

Fellow Australian here. Went to re-download the other day and found this same issue with the download speed. Less than 400kb/s download from both their launcher, and the manual client download link BSG support sent me. Then suddenly they want personal information from me about my location and such. No way I was going through all that bullshit just for them to tell me "Have you tried turning it off and on again?"


You are an absolute Maverick, good sir! Nothing I found online worked and as usual, BSG support is no help at all. This worked instantly.


With your fix, I'm back to regular download speed through the launcher. Cheers brother! I'll try to spread it around, as well as giving credit where it's due ;)

Crazy that this is all it took, I was so concerned when my download wasn't going higher than 2mb/s - did commands after closing the launcher, restarted the download and the speed shot straight up. Cheers for the short and sweet video

Mine resorts to normal after about 15 seconds, found that pausing and playing was the best strategy

Went from 5MB/s to 30-40MB/s - multiple hours to 5 minutes. And the video didn't have a 2 minute intro asking me to subscribe - incredible.
