Kitchen Remodel Day 10 | October 25, 2017

The flooring is down. The planning and scraping did not go as planned. but after 12 hours I got it all done. and smoothed out. I have spent the last 3 days laying down coats of Waterlox on the flooring and Wipe on Poly on the cabinets. and I am so happy with where it is now!

It looks great. I can't let my wife see this. Man it does look awesome. You are causing me problems. After watching one of your videos I showed my wife the type of flooring you were using at a local supply store and I could see the wheels turning in her head. What did I ever do to you? If she sees this, you're setting the bar to high! ! ! !

I love hand tools but for home remodeling I would have just accepted that the floor sander would have saved my life... it looks good though...

One short word.. WOW. That looks Absolutely Fabulous. A lot of hard work has paid off, even more so that it was done with Hand tools. Well done does not cover it, but well done James

Just out of curiosity, you said you’ve laid a ton of floors in one of the other videos. Was that your profession at one point? I know you’re SAHD now, but you seem to have WAY more knowledge than your “average Joe.” Were you a general contractor? I don’t mean to pry 😬. Feel free not to answer though, bc I’m just being nosey 👃🏻. Can’t wait for the Saturday vid to be up.
